Antique Brown & White Old European-Cut Diamond, 14K Yellow Gold Three Stone Ring

To showcase the central old European-cut natural brown colored diamond, weighing 1.83 cts., this  classic 14k yellow gold  “three stone ring” from the early 20^th century, is accentuated by two Old European-cut diamonds weighing a total of approximately 1.80 cts.,  H-I color and VS2-SI1 clarity, circa 1905.  Historically, brown diamonds were among the earliest diamonds used in jewelry. These “earthy” colored diamonds were found to be introduced into Roman rings between the first and third centuries CE. These natural colored diamonds have been incorporated into jewelry design ever since and offer an intriguing display of colors mined from the earth.
